A resource that helps me a lot through life’s biggest challenges is honesty: speaking honesty, reading honesty. Blogs are all about that. Following are other blogs recording the ‘intro’ journey (and more) of others. For commiseration, cool tips, insights and methods, check them daily, browse earlier posts, subscribe (free) to receive new posts direct to your email inbox.
Note: In each of the following, I offer both the url to each one’s ‘Day 1′ post, as well as the url to their latest. If you’re coming to these intro blog posts for your first time, start with the ‘Day 1′ post. Depending on the blogging software being used, you’ll find either in their right hand navigation or above their current post indication of how to reach the next, and next, and next entry. Once you’re all caught up, you can just click on the ‘latest post’ url (or subscribe -free- to their blogs directly).
I’ll be adding to this list as I’m informed of more…

Hi Maggie,
What’s your blog url, please?
B.
Oops – first post is:

Hi Baden,
I think I asked you a question about esophagitis.. but cant seem to find it anywhere… trying to figure out the blog/website.
Also, why do you take ACV before meals?
Thanks much
Kim P
Hi Kim,
You did indeed, and it and my answer are here.
I take ACV in warm water 10-15 minutes before meals to increase my stomach acid, to help digestion.
Best,
Baden
We are about 6 weeks into intro and stage 4ish, and I’ve been blogging since we started at ourgapsjourney.blogspot.com
Hi is there any intro blogs on people doing GAPS with their young children? My son is 4, we have started today, I’ve so far managed to get around 3 sips of soup into him… I’d like to read others’ experiences.
Thanks everyone
Hi Starlett,
Yes, there are. Unfortunately, I can never remember who’s doing what on what blog until I get there. Under the “intro blogs” post from a few days ago, Sara is well into intro with her kids. Peruse also the blogs listed on my ‘Support ‘ page.
Also, on kids and kids and broth, please see the following two posts:
http://gapsguide.com/2009/08/05/but-my-child-wont-eat/
http://gapsguide.com/2008/12/01/bone-broth-how/
As noted here, what your son is going through is normal for kids on early intro. It will resolve.
All my best,
Baden
okay baden, if you would like to add a ‘mom and almost 3 year old baby girl who started intro, moved to (allergy restriced) full gaps, and are crawling back toward intro all in 2 weeks’ blog to your list, i’d be happy to share our experiences.

you and starlene have been great sources of information and motivation these last few days! i’m unfamiliar with doing things imperfectly (though i seem to do just that quite often) and this diet is IMPOSSIBLE to do “perfectly.” I’m learning that imperfection and variances based on our specific healing needs is the only way we can proceed correctly. :adding to the chorus: thank you! thank you! thank you!
Jennifer, yay! Not only is your writing awesome and honest, it’s hilarious to boot! Thanks for that. I’ve added it to the list. The weirdest thing: I was reading your latest post -inside my head- and my son calls out from his bath, “Mummy? Is Wendy’s food bad for us?” How weird is that?! He’s never even been to Wendy’s! What on earth made him think of that just while I was reading your post. Children…spooky…
And right on about your ‘imperfection’ thoughts!! I like to say “we honestly try for 100% so that we’ll hit 80%”. And then we heal
Best,
Baden
thanks baden! my writing has become very jumbled and nonsensical since i’ve been dealing with die off and have fuzzy brain, so i’m glad someone else is able to read it.
are you kidding me with the wendy’s comment?!? that’s amazing!!! you and your son have some link! what a great feeling that must be. i can anticipate what my daughter needs and is feeling, but we haven’t done the full telepathy thing yet!
are we supposed to have broth for breakfast too??
Hi Sarah,
Broth at breakfast is a great way to go! Note that even Stage 1, though, includes not only broth but boiled meats, fats and -for those fine with them- boiled veggies. For more info, please do see the GAPS Guide book detailed here: http://gapsguide.com/book/
All my best,
Baden
