When joining the GAPShelp Yahoo Group, one can receive a wide variety of tips and perspectives. Some people are able to work through the information relatively easily; an overwhelmed person may not be. Whether you can or cannot, a remedy journal can help you to find your way back when you run into trouble, as well as help you to provide a full history to helpers .
1. Get a binder, hole-punched paper and tabs.
2. On one tab, write down one symptom, for example, “eczema”.
3. At this point only, post to the GAPShelp list a request for information on eczema.
5. When the first answer comes in, write its key words -for example, “reduce Bio-Kult”- at the top of one page.
6. Insert that page behind the “eczema” tab.
7. Create a new page for each remedy suggested, for example, one for “apple cider vinegar bath in tepid water” and another for “stop supplements”.
8. For every person that dittos a remedy, put a star on that remedy’s page.
9. At any point, try one approach.
A good one to try first is one you most suspect of being the culprit, the simplest one or the one with the most stars.
On the remedy page, record the date.
Over the next two weeks, write down any changes you notice.
10. Only after at least two weeks have passed, try another remedy.
If at any point you have literally tried everything for at least two weeks each and are still having challenges, you can post your tests and results to the GAPShelp list or bring them to your health practitioner.
This practice will help narrow down what’s been tried and allow your helper(s) to move on to new levels of ideas.

I use evening primrose oil when my daughter breaks out with eczema and it works great. It takes time but I try to use it 3 times a day. We have been doing Dr. McBride’s diet for a year now.
