I remembered something tonight. I remembered that I once blogged my Herculean effort to get off of sugar. I just found the archives. For the first post, including a sense of what I was eating pre-pre-pre-GAPS, click here. See? If I can transition to SCD/GAPS, so can you!
Now, let me tell you some secrets:
1. I really did eat all that crap every day.
2. I really did kick sugar that time – for 77 days.
3. It was way easier to kick sugar via SCD/GAPS.
4. I’ve lasted way longer on GAPS, and without thinking about it or really trying.
If someone had told me then that I could eat a diet full of taste and fat and deliciousness, and be healthy and not give a crap about Twinkies, I don’t know whether I would have believed that. But now I know it’s true!
